Account deletion
How to delete your examie account and all associated data — from the app, or by email if you do not have the app to hand.
From the app
Open Profile → Settings → My data and choose to delete your account. You will be asked to confirm — that is protection against an accidental tap.
Without the app
Write to vladslugin987@gmail.com from the address the account is registered to and say that you want it deleted. If the address does not match, we will ask you to confirm the account is yours: we will not delete one on a stranger's request.
For a student under sixteen, a parent or legal guardian may send the request.
What gets deleted
Along with the account, we delete:
- the profile, name, email address and chosen subjects
- every answer, practice session and mock exam
- conversations with the AI tutor, including voice requests
- achievements, streak, league points and ranking position
- the link to a parent or a class, if there was one
What stays, and why
Payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. They contain no study data.
De-identified information that cannot be traced to a person may remain in aggregate statistics.
Timing
The account stops working as soon as the request is confirmed. Full data deletion happens within 30 days.
Those 30 days are a deliberate grace period: they let you recover the account if the request was a mistake. To recover it, write to the same address before the period ends. After that, the data is gone for good.
